Tires
- Inspect tires for proper inflation using a pressure gauge.
- Inspect that valve stems are accessible and not damaged.
- Inspect that metal valve caps are missing.
- Inspect for cuts or abrasions.
- Inspect for bulges.
- Inspect for minimum tread depth with a depth gauge.
- 4/32″ steering axle 2/32″ other axles
“The tires should be properly inflated. I would check this using a pressure gauge. The valve stems are accessible and a metal cap is in place. It would be removed to check use pressure gauge then replaced secure. I would look for abrasions, bulges or cuts on the tires. Finally, I would check for minimum tread depth. This is 4/32″ on the steering axle and 2/32″ on other axles.”
